Abstract
The Umayyads state an Arab state. Mu‘awiya b. Abi Sufyan along with penetrating state property, the property itself is a much more prominent in society in later years to be perceived even applied as a rigid nationalism. During this period, even if they are non-Arab Muslim elements made of different treatment. This way of looking at the non-Arab and Arabs have significantly affected the state and against the Umayyads or the organized anti-government movement has shown itself. Because the collapse of the Umayyads state in non-Arab Muslim undertook a big role in what we call the non-Arab elements. Getting away from the basic understanding of the principles of Islam, especially in the period of the Umayyads and the conviction that, in this period, and live all the opposition groups were kept constantly on the agenda has been a problem in society. For this reason, the state of the structure of different faiths and ethnic groups arose in the riots. This is one of the groups are Kharijites.

Abstract
Emevî devleti, bir Arap devletidir. Muâviye b. Ebî Süfyân'ın devleti tesis etmesiyle birlikte, bu özellik kendini toplumda hissettirmiş hatta ilerleyen yıllarda çok daha belirgin bir şekilde katı bir milliyetçilik olarak uygulanmıştır. Bu dönemde müslüman olsalar dahi Arap olmayan unsurlara farklı muamelede bulunulmuştur. Bu durum, Arap olmayanların devlete ve Araplara bakış tarzını önemli ölçüde etkilemiş ve devlet aleyhtarı ya da Emevîler aleyhine düzenlenen her harekette kendini göstermiştir. Zira Emevî devletinin çöküşünde de, mevâli dediğimiz bu Arap olmayan unsurlar büyük bir rol üstlenmişlerdir. Emevîler döneminde özellikle de İslâm'ın temel anlayış ve ilkelerinden uzaklaşıldığı kanaati, bu dönemdeki bütün muhalif grupların toplumda sürekli gündemde ve canlı tuttukları bir sorun olmuştur. Bu nedenle de, devlet içinde farklı inanç ve etnik yapıdaki gruplarca isyanlar baş göstermiştir. Bu grupların başında ise, Hâricîler gelmektedir.
