The articles sent to Olgu Journal of Sociology for publication are sent to at least two duble-blind referees after the review by the Editorial Board and are published after receiving positive reports from both referees. In the cases of the referee opinions are contradictory, a third referee is applied. The evaluation period of an article is approximately 60 days. Editors decide whether the articles are fit be published within the congruent issue of the journal. Book reviews are not sent to referees and are published with the recommendation of Book Review Editor and decision of the Editorial Board. Even if the articles sent to the journal are not published, they are not returned. If requested, the referee reports are sent to the author.
