Öz
Tefsir tarihinde tâbiûn döneminin önemli bir yeri bulunur. Zira bu dönemde sadece tefsir değil diğer İslami ilimler de tedvin edilmeye başlamıştır. Ayrıca tefsir eserlerindeki rivayetlerin büyük bir kısmı tâbiûna dayanır. Ancak tefsir araştırmalarında tâbiûn dönemi, tedvinden sonraki diğer dönem-ler kadar ilgi görmemiştir. Dolayısıyla bu dönemdeki tefsir faaliyetlerini ele alan sınırlı sayıda ça-lışma bulunur. Tâbiûn dönemine dair çalışmalarda ya tefsir ve ulûmu’l-Kur’ân açısından tâbiûn ile sahâbe dönemi birlikte değerlendirilmekte ya da tâbiûn döneminden öne çıkan isimler müstakil olarak ele alınmaktadır. Bu çalışmada tefsir tarihi hakkındaki araştırmalarıyla öne çıkan ve tâbiûn dönemi tefsirinin önemine dikkat çeken Ceyda Gürman’ın Tâbiûn Dönemi Tefsiri ve Medineli Müfessirler isimli eseri incelenmektedir. Yazar eserinde, bu dönemdeki tefsir faaliyetlerini detaylı bir şekilde analiz etmekte, diğer ilimlerde yaygın olarak kabul edilen bazı genellemelerin tefsirle örtüşmediği yerleri ortaya koymakta ve bu husustaki literatürün sorunlarını dile getirmektedir. Giriş ve üç bölüm-den meydana gelen eser, tâbiûn dönemi ve Medineli müfessirler hakkında nitelikli tespitlerle sona ermektedir. Tâbiûn döneminde tefsire katkısı bulunan müfessirlerin hoca-talebe ilişkisi içinde tahlil edildiği eser, şöhret bulan Medineli müfessirlerin yanı sıra tefsire katkısı olan Medineli tâbiûn hak-kında tarihsel verilerin analizi ile ortaya çıkan özgün yorumları ihtiva eder. Eser gerek tefsir tarihi gerekse tâbiûn dönemindeki çalışmalar açısından yol gösterici niteliktedir.

The tābiūn era has an important place in the history of tafsīr. In this era, not only tafsīr but also other Islamic sciences began to be edited. In addition, most of the narrations in tafsīr works are based on the tābiūn. However, the tābiūn period has not received as much attention in tafsīr studies as the other periods after the revision. Therefore, there is a limited number of studies dealing with tafsīr activities in this era. In the studies on the tābiūn era, either the tābiūn and the sahāba period are evaluated together in terms of tafsīr and ulūm al-Qur'ān, or the prominent names from the tābiūn era are discussed independently. This study examines the work of Ceyda Gürman, who stands out with her studies on the history of tafsīr and draws attention to the importance of the tafsīr of the tābiūn era, titled “Tafsīr of the Tābiūn Period and the Medinan Mufassīrs.” In her work, the author analyses the tafsīr activities in this period in detail, reveals where some generalisations commonly accepted in other sciences do not coincide with tafsīr, and expresses the problems of the literature in this regard. The work, which consists of an introduction and three chapters, ends with qualified determinations about the tābiūn period and the Medinan Mufassīrs. The work, in which the exegetes who contributed to tafsīr in the tābiūn period are analysed in the relationship between teacher and pupil, contains original interpretations that emerged through the analysis of historical data about the Medinan tābiūn who contributed to tafsīr as well as the Medinan mufassīrs who became famous. This study is a guiding work in terms of both the history of tafsīr and the studies in the tābiūn period.
