Abstract

The history of Islam, rather than being the product of a single nation or region, has been shaped by the contributions of various nations in different geographical areas. Therefore, Islamic history has evolved into a structure that encompasses diverse influences from various regions and nations. During this process, the influence of different cultures has provided opportunities for the development and enrichment of Islam. One of these significant influences is the culture of Iran. The penetration of Islam into the lands of Iran occurred relatively quickly, allowing the early integration of the regional culture into Islamic culture. With the rise of the Safavids to power, the development of the Shiite phenomenon became influential throughout Iran in a short period. The enduring impact of these developments has played a decisive role, particularly in the formation of independent sources in the history of Iran during the Safavid period.
